happy 4th of july!!!


since my last post....lots of stuff to update....

since then my auntie jackie and my 3 cousins came to visit at the end of may/beg of june....it was fun hanging out with them at simi valley and taking them around to hollywood, bev hills, and redondo beach and then to universal studios......i really miss them! im glad we got a chance to spend time with them before they moved to china....one fun memory was that we all went on jurassic park (even my lil cousins!) and the picture was classic!! no one wanted to buy it, but thankfully uncle boyet wanted to buy it too so we got it!! its the best ride picture ever!! hehe i wish i knew how to post pics on here....i would definitely post it...it was so fun!!

then it was my birthday =( i dont want to be another yr older! time flies! and like i said before i am just in the same situation that i was in last yr, but probably fatter.....=/
but i was so thankful to spend my birthday with my family!...on friday kim, len and i tried the red lion tavern and it was yummy! then we went to go try for the wicked lottery, thinking i would have birthday luck or something...when we got there kim saw her friend from usc waiting too...so we had a good feeling about the lottery....but none of our names were called! but they offered orchestra seats for $45!!! so ended up getting really good seats anyways!! and i was sooo happy that we got megan and eden on our show....cuz the last time we watched we got the standby for elphaba.....i love seeing megan and eden perform!! theyre awesome!!! before the show we walked to kabuki and ate some sushi and had sake bombs! the last time i remembered having sake, it was warm and i really didnt like it...but i liked the sake at kabuki with the asahi....it was yummy!!! and i havent drank in a while and i dont like beer so everyone was surprised that i was able to down it pretty much as quickly as the others....then we went to the show and it was wonderful as usual!!
then on sunday we had a lunch here at my house and i was so happy to spend it with family!!!!
and i got a lot of awesome gifts!!! kind of too awesome, i dont think i deserve them!!!! but thanks so much, family!!! i love them!!

so i had my 1st interview for orange county on june 6 and i brought anna with me....we went to sprinkles and then duke's....newport was pretty but the water at huntington beach was brown!! it was soo gross!! hopefully its not always like that!.....then my 2nd interview was on 6/18 and it was pretty early...i didnt think it went as well as my 1st interview but i thought i did well on asking questions at the end...oc is so positive! id love to work for them someday.....BUT!!!! on june 14, thursday i got a vmail from la county!!! and heard that they were offering the job as EHS1 if i was still interested!!!! luckily i had the vmail cuz i was in disbelief and i could just refer back to the vmail to make sure i wasnt dreaming! but they tried to call my house and ate dey called me also telling me to call zeppur asap....so i got ahold of zeppur and she offered me the job, pending passing the background check and med exam!!! yay!!! its amazing how they called me just a couple days before my oc interview!!! ive been praying to God to lead me to the right job that would be best for me and i think that was a sign for me!! so exciting!! i hope i really like the job as much as liked my classes!!

then len's family and my auntie remy's family came down from the bay....it was a fun week being tour guide and stuff! we went to disneyland last wednesday! (it was nice to go back there with len since its been a yr since our engagement 6/16!) we waited in line for sooooo long for nemo....it was a cool ride but the wait was too long! and len thought he saw someone from ufc, chuck liddell, but he didnt get to go find out if it was him...and the fireworks were amazing!!! with the tinkerbell and stuff! and fantasmic is amazing as usual!! then we went to universal too, but it was hard to keep all 20 people (len's family and my auntie remy's family) all together...at least we all got to ride the tram together...

also last thursday, len and i got to see a screening of transformers!!! we werent sure if we were going to get in cuz it was first come first serve...but we were able to get in!! but the seats were pretty much all saved, and we couldnt find 2 seats together...so we sat apart =(.....but i really liked the movie!!! the cg was sooooo cool!!!! so overall it was a very eventful week!! and i took len to versailles and he liked it! and then we got to try papa cristo's....and that was yummy too!! i wish len was still here! but ill see him at the end of july for comic con! yay mini vacation!! on july 20, my cousins from canada are coming to la...and i get to go to universal again!! yay!! june/july has been very busy with lots of family visiting and its sooo fun!! so im really glad that when the training for la county starts it would be in august, so i get to spend lots of time with family while they are here!!
