just got back from a busy weekend...went to vegas with len and his family for his new baby cuzn's baptism....it was soooo cold in vegas, coughing my brains out every time id go outside....we got there around 1:30p at the tuscany suites n casino, very homely quaint place, doesnt feel like the typical vegas hotel room....then we ventured out to visit the family out in henderson...it took us about 40 mins to find the place and we ate and saw the new baby..edward "waldo".....just one month old and sooo big already...then we met up with uncle marlon and auntie alice at stein mart n then went to their house...it was crazy seeing both our families in one house just talking and meeting, and of course there were pictures taken=)..first on friday when they met my parents and then today when they met more of my family...its cool=)....then we went to the strip,to see bellagio n the shops in aladdin....then when everyone went back to the hotel, len and i went to get the gigantic hot dogs for everyone.....yummy...then we went to gamble a lil and i just got my money back and len was down some money...then we had to turn in cuz the baptism was the next day...we got the church and it was sooooooooooooo crowded, very stuffy and then the baptism lasted an hour , then we made a pit stop at walmart and then to the reception at a buffet...they were singing magic mike and all the singers were good, its just that the other customers kept looking into the party cuz they could hear....goodness like they havent seen a karaoke before...then we went to coke n m&m world later that nite, ate noble roman's pizza and went back to the hotel..then we were supposed to leave very early monday morning..we left vegas at like 9:30a, got to la around 2:30p and then we went to universal studios, luckily they closed at 9p so wed have time to see stuff, but the lines were soo long cuz it was soo crowded...the tram took like 2 hours with all the tram traffic, we went to eat, then went to t2 and back to the future, in which the lines werent as long as earlier in the day.....then we hung out at citywalk, while some people did shopping then headed to reseda....we ate dinner again and watched the rex dvd.....dang we musta ate like 5 times yesterday...also it started snowing in vegas......we just missed it, it woulda been pretty to see that.....hehehe then today we went to visit len's cuzns in reseda, and came home for a light lunch..and now as i write, they are prolly one hour away from home.....the weekend was sooo busy....but i couldnt stop thinking about brent.....i want to go and visit him one day once i find out where his site is....and i was looking at some websites of his friends, who have pics of him up from the weekend before and of his funeral, and his memorial bday....he is sooo loved and he has touched so many people's lives.."may you rest in peace, brent and know that everyone here will always miss you and love you......"
