the train is nice...i feel less pressure now even if my schedule is soooo weird...i need to study!! hehe i will after i write in the blog..this weekend was soo crazy..i went to berkeley to help my cuzn move in and i didnt tell len that i was coming up..so we got there around 5pm at daly city and the weather was sooo nice....stepped outa the car and it was sweatshirt weather all of a sudden.nice low 70's weather compared to our hot 100+ ...dang and it was nice the whole weekend...then i didnt get to see len on friday cuz i knew we had to wake up early so after move in, resting, church, len was going to come over to berkeley after his day at water world and sizzler with his family...he got to berkeley and like a sweetie that he is, he attempted to take my cuzn and me to the city for a club...well it took us 2 hours to get to the place, since there was soo much traffic (and this was around midnite) and forever to look for parking and then when we got there it was like 1:30 so they werent letting anyone in anymore...so its sucks that we made the trek over there and we didnt do anything but at least we saved money from not going to the club i guess,...then we had to leave early on sunday so i didnt get to spend that much time with him, but its ok cuz hes coming down on the 26th yay!! hehe i dont know how im going to keep him entertained since i have school and research, and i take the train and itll be expensive if he comes with me on the train..so hopefuly he'll get to work on some portfolio stuff while hes here....welps i gota go now and hopefully study hehe...

this weekend went well!! im so happy but then its back to school tomorrow=/....well on thursday it was cool cuz me and rachelle went to look for seagulls during lab time, so it was pretty chill going to the beaches and stuff, but we couldnt find any stationary seagulls to go collect samples...then we bought lotto and it turns out that the ticket won like 10 dollars..got three numbers..man if we got the mega also it woulda been 50 bucks!!..then on friday was a bunch of errands for the wedding shower..and went out to dinner with annemarie, belle, lou, and tinz... the wait at bj's was over an hour long, but we got a chance to catch up and take pictures so it was cool! im sooo glad we all got to hang out again!!!!! i miss them!!!!also they give out free samples of pizza in the lobby!! heehe...then we ate dinner and there was soooo many people and there was one guy that was having a bday and he had gotten a blow up doll in a balikbayan box!! how funny!....then got home and started a few preparations for the shower...gosh i was sooooo nervous that when i was out doing errands at about 10am i thought i was running out of time and i had about 8 hours left til the party...then got home did more stuff to set up and then help my mom cook the dishes...i was soooo stressed out and my mom was the one telling me to chill out, "dont worry, anak itll be fine" lol...cuz they were supposed to go to a family party and they were going to leave me at about 4!! so i was scared about that too cuz i wouldnt have been able to do it without my parents and friends!!!...but it turned out that my mom didnt go, so she stayed with me... the food was all ready way before all the people showed up..i was more worried that everyone was going to feel hot in my house but it was ok i think ..i think i was just getting hot flashes cuz i was soo nervous...but overall i was soo happy cuz everyone , even the guys, were participating in the games and it totally seemed like they were having fun!!! heheeh and i was such a dork cuz i thought i had lost one of the prizes cuz it dropped outa my hand but it turned out there were really only 3 certificates instead of 4!! and the other prize was the cute straw from coffee bean!! ehehhe so we were all looking around for something that wasnt even there1!! im such an idiot!!!....but i hope everyone really did have fun and they werent just being nice and faking it in front of me....=)...but monica and kuya av also said that they had fun so im really glad for that=)...haahha my feet were hella hurting by the end of the day!!!! i dont think i even sat down for more than 10 mins the whole day!!!.. and today is pretty chill and were going to church a lil later...i have to go start my hw cuz i have another quiz on tues!!..and then imma take kim and cindy to the airport tomorrow morning at 3 am..cuz they going to hawaii!! im soo jealous hehe but this time last year they had taken me to hawaii....cant believe its already been a yr!!

goshhh its been such a tiring week and its only tuesday!!! first of all yucky physics class started for 4X a week classs and then about 20 hours of lab research..it hasnt been as bad as i thought...i hope i retain all that im learning...first of all lemme tell u about my day yesterday....woke up abou 6 a.m. (!) and i wantd to take the early train in case i got lost anywhere...welps i missed that one like by a minute so i waited for the 7:18 train, which ended up to fit perfectly cuiz the first train outa la to irvine was at 8 ...so it was smooth sailing and then there was a direct bus to univ center waiting for us as we got off the train, and so i learned that every time a metrolink gets off, one of those shuttles is waiting so i thought SWEET!....then boring physics and then like 5.5 hours in the lab, standing the whole time doing the most tedious process ever, preparation and extraction of DNA...my feet were aching and then i took the bus to the tustin metrolink station, trying to catch the 6:46 pm train to only find out that that train didnt go all the way to la, and t here werent anymore for the day, so i took that train til their stop in santa ana, since they were expecting an amtrak train to la....so i had to wait an hour there for that train...so he said metrolink tickets (by the way for one round trip cost me 15.75!)werent transferable on amtrak so i had to plead my case to the conductor to see if he would let it slide, otherwise he would have me buy another ticket for 19.50! so i waited anxiously, with my heart pounding fast, and finally i saw the train and asked the conductor, he kinda gave me this (eh) look and he told me to go inside...so he was trying find me a way to get back to van nuys, since there were no more trains to vannuys (since it was already 8 and it would be 9 when we got to la), only an amtrak bus...so he said the best he could do was 13.50 with the bus and 11 without...so i scrounged around in my wallet and found 9 dollars and i was about to offter my credit card and then he goes "its ok...just be careful next time" so im forever grateful to that conductor!! then i had to call my dad to pick me up in la.....so i had to get gas and food and i got home around 10pm..can u believe that i left my house at 6:30 am and didnt get back til 10...goodness!
~then today started off kinda eh too..my dad bought me a 10 trip ticket to irvine and since i got off in tustin i wondered if i could get one to tustin for a cheaper price....when i got there this guy who was at the phone booth, slides in front of me since i guess he was saving his place in line while he was on the phone....so this guy takes forever and started singing and going back to the ph one booth while the agent was processing his request....and i didnt want to miss my train, and so i waited 15 mins and this guy wasnt even done so i walked to wait for the train..then the day was ok besides the professor scaring us about how hard this course will be esp for summer.....and then discussion ended early and then we were only in lab til 3...so i caught an earlier bus and trains but i still got home at around 6:30....then i asked the agent at the station some questions and found out that this ticket my dad bought would obly last me a week ....so i came home and i asked my dad if we could pay the difference for a monthly pass...so we went back (i wanted to go back while that guy was still there cuz he was really cool)...and he basically said that they dont usualy exchange if the 10 trip was already used but since it was only marked and not punched, hed prolly be able to do it and i explained my situation in the morning...so we got a monthly pass but it ends on the 31st....so basically after calculating it all i just saved 10 dollars....ahahahh i guess thats good...
~EXCITING NEWS!! Kehaunani Mangoba Wilson was born yesterday at 5:10pm. at 6 lbs and 2 ounces..and that was the highlight of my day hearing that "its a girl!" (cuz theyve been wanting a girl =))and she was born healthy and la and n ani are free from any diabetes, though they are being kept for observation just to make sure.....so hearing the great news made my day=) i cant wait to meet her, but i dont know if ill be able to go up north til len's bday so she'll be so big by then....(yay! now she can use the care bear and pooh clothes we got!) welcome nani!!
