CONGRATS CICI & JAY! just got the invite and theyre beautiful!! sooo happy for the two of u! u deserve all the happiness in the world! and we are so excited to be able to witness this very special day with u!!

cici and jay got engaged last summer and cherlou got engaged last november! sorry, have not blogged about it yet, so wanted to say congrats to the happy couples!! yay!!

we had a family party to go to yesterday in carson and after that was the maids of honor/bridesmaids dinner with cherlou in pasadena at louise's! it was fun getting to see all her old friends that i dont think ive seen in about 6 yrs! and always good to see the cousins, one of which i have not seen since 2002, and she is also a maid of honor!

gosh i cant believe how fast this yr is going already...i was already thinking that oh my gosh its almost christmas again! and although november seems so far, they mentioned yesterday it is only 7 months away til cherlou and alex's wedding!! oh my gosh!!! not only does that leave me with an even greater urgency to lose weight, but to realize that our goal wedding time for november 2008 is coming up fast!!!!!


we still have not done any major planning yet....even the bridesmaids and groomsmen we dont have picked out yet....i feel like since i cant even make a decision about that, then how will i be during the other wedding planning things! aaaah! i think we are just lagging on deciding about that.....especially since im indecisive about stuff like that...i feel like ive rubbed that off onto len too! but i know first and foremost we have to tackle the date by the end of the summer...

i realllly reallly hope that i get the training position with la county!!! two weeks after my finals ended, i had an interview with the county for an environmental health specialist I....i got alot of advice and sample questions from my intern office.....and i rehearsed, and i dont know how i did on the interview...i answered everything...but i found myself having to clairfy alot of the questions and pause a while to gather my answer, esp for the situational questions.....i just hope that my certificate and intern play a great role too in picking me for the position! im praying everyday that i get that letter (that places applicants in band groups, and candidates get selected from band 1 first, then progresses to the next bands)....i hope i get it soon and they said it would take a few weeks, but im prob going to try to call a contact within la county and ask him if he knows exactly when they come out.....im so anxious!! i also hope i get placed into the training class that starts in june....please oh please!!

yay we got to see wicked again on 3/30!!! we got to see it with kuya av and monica...and it was soooo fun!! we got pretty good seats, but the heads in front of us kept moving that we couldnt really see the stage....but i was so excited to see megan and eden, the two leads that we saw in ny, one year ago!! they are amazing!!! we were also at the booth that sold autgroaphed pics and other merchandise for an aids charity....and we saw the sign for $500 donation to go to a meet and greet and backstage tour for up to a group of 4! and i rememeber kuya av and len were wondering during intermission if they offered that in la, but we hadnt heard anything yet....til the end when we knew they were offering charity merchandise and found the tour....len and i knew they had the same sort of thing in ny last yr too.....sooooo on a whim, len and kuya av, were like "let's go do it...its for 4 people!!" ehhe like it was a deal or something....but of course it was for a good cause!! so they split the cost and then all 4 of us got ready for the tour!

the manager led us to the dressing room of megan first! her family was in town cuz it was her bday the day before.....and she showed us her wardrobe..and len and monica got to feel how heavy the blue dress is and how she gets latched onto the bubble within the dress....she showed us her popular dress and she also held up the popular panties hehe with the ruffles...then she showed us her one short day dress i think...where it is her fastest costume change...then we took pics with her and she let monica and i wear her tiaras!!! she was soooo nice and a wonderful performer!!

then we went to eden's dressing room and we chatted with her for a while, asking her many questions and then we took a pic with her too!! we kept telling her that she totally blew us away with her performance....she was totally amazing!! i love how she portrays elphie!! eeheh shes super nice too and an awesome performer!!

then adam, who plays boq met up with us with his gf meagan, to give us the tour....i was the photographer...he showed us the catacombs underground that lead to diff areas that were built by howard hughes, dressing rooms, the wig room, the props, the orchestra area, the area where the cast gets massages and the props they use to stretch out in the hallways, the boom boom room (the musical portion len and kuya av were totally enthused about....with all the cool equipment they have and just being able to see that area in a first person p.o.v.), it was cool being able to walk on stage and also we got to see the trap doors on stage for elphie, the props for the beds, the wizard face, auntie em's house, the grimmerie (we looked inside and saw the funny writing too), the book props of the ensemble in dancing thru life, the green elixir bottle, elphie's broom, and the cool green baby!!! adam then ended the tour with a couple cool magic card tricks! we saw sooooo much! i prob didnt get to mention it all ....that day was soooooooooo amazing!! we still cant believe that we were able to go backstage and meet them too! and the pantages theater is beautiful!!! i hope we get to see it again before eden and megan's run is through
