yay two posts in one week! im just sitting here in my room with the laptop watching tom & jerry...i wish i had the channel boom! they have all the old school cartoons...

well this week i called hr and they told me they could not give out info about how many people are in band 1, so i went to my intern on wednesday....and they told me that i can go review my interview/exam score and see the comments they interviewers gave and there i can view the list that shows me where i stand among the other applicants.
also before i left i was going to tell maristella i was going to leave and i saw that she was talking to one of the guys that interviewed me so i got scared...i briefly walked in to give her what i was working on and then she introduced me and he remembered me.....he asked if i was happy with my score and i said 'well i missed group 1 by 2 points!' i dont know if that was mean of me to say that esp in front of the one who gave me the score...but he told me that the question i should be asking is how many people are in group 1 and reassured me that there were not that many...and i should be very hopeful.....so that felt nice to hear

then on thursday i woke up early to try and line up for this transformer thing len told me about...it was supposed to be at 7-9am....so i figured i would be ok if i leave at 6am to go to sunset and vine near the transformer building....so i got there at 6:30 am and it was soooo crowded! freaking hardcore fans hehe....so i heard that the first 50 get a toy and they were also giving out screening passes....so i was way past the 50th person so i was just hoping to take pics and get screening passes...so we lined up and there was this huge big rig, that was kind of a simulator i guess.....it was the sector 7 that had 'government official' actors inside and we were going to see some footage of the movie....so while in line i was trying to take pics of the G4 interviewers so i can show len who they were cuz i dont really know the hosts of that channel...then we got inside and saw footage of the main actors fighting off scorpion robots....i didnt realize til later when len brought it up that the footage they showed didnt even have anything transform.....which they should have shown...anyways i got a flyer for a screening pass for 2....and they would contact me by email/phone to let us know where it is...so hopefully it is enough notice before the screening so len can watch it with me...and that special event was supposed to have an unveiling of a building....ya the transformer building served as a backdrop of the whole event....but the whole time i thought they were going to unveil some cool transformer somewhere in the vicinity of the area...but they didnt....hehe they misled us....but hopefully we get to watch the screening!

after that i went to commerce to view my results and the sheets didnt really have any criticisms but alot of the checkmark boxes i had were in the G section, more than the checks i had in the O section.....which i assume means good and outstanding....so i saw the list of applicants and on my list of that particular job annoucement there were 2 people in group 1, and the group 2 people were listed alphabetically...i hope they dont choose people in that order and i hope its by score...then she showed me another list where they can choose from and it was two pages long and there were 11 group 1 people! (this list was from a previous/old job announcement) well hopefully if there is a training class of 30, im stil in the running for the next training class and im one of the first group 2 people they call...

today im just hanging out and planning to exercise sometime soon....then tomorrow fam time in simi valley!!

so im just at home, still waiting for the county to call me back! gosh its taking forever!

well i finally got the letter after my interview that places me into a band group according to how i scored on the interview....i missed group one by 2 points, with my 92!! im sooo upset because...i just missed it and why didnt they just see that im interning and give me the extra 2 points?!! so basically once they find all the number of openings and they start hiring they pull from the people in group 1 first and then go on to group 2... so im just hoping that there is noone in group 1 and i can get in asap...im prob going to try to call hr later and see if they can tell me how many people are in group 1 ehhee...hey thats what someone at my intern advised me to do hehe

so as of today im 27 yrs and 11 months old...i dont want it to be my birthday yet!! gosh one yr later...and im still in the same position as last yr....but finished with classes but still not in the county yet....and when i talked to my contact yesterday from la county he said the next training class probably won't start til july or august!! thats so long! what am i going to be doing til then? i mean at least i wouldnt have to ask for it off, when my relatives and len's family comes in june...and i can play tour guide again...and i should be thankful for this down time, cuz once i start working it would be ages til i can take some time off.....but thing is i dont want to do any major wedding planning or decisions til i have that training job....so hopefully by the end of the summer i do get called...i also applied in orange county, and it was easier to submit that application cuz it was online...so im just waiting for them to call me back....but would i really want to commute from there? hopefully they have company cars so i can take the train =)

len was here this past weekend...it was our weekend celebrating our 6 yr anniversary on april 24!! we wanted to watch spidey at midnight on thursday but it was sold out for the imax.....so we watched it at 11am on friday....we both started to feel sick and stuffy tho....but the movie was cool! but just as it came to the climax of the movie the imax turned off and they announced that they were having technical difficulties...ten mins later they turned it back on but we had missed a couple mins already so im still kind of lost as to what happened....at least they gave us free tickets...then len and i, miserable with our stuffy heads and runny noses, hung out at citywalk at karl strauss and just passing the time

we were trying to figure out if we were going to try for the wicked lottery...we ended up going to pantages and we tried and we won!!! yay!!!! and our seats ended up being front row and exactly in the center!!! we were so excited, but we had a stand-by for elphaba....watching defying gravity from the front row is amazing!! the stand-by was good too, but we missed watching eden too!

then on the weekend we went to eat lunch with my parents and then we went to valencia..we hung out with kuya av and monica til sunday and then sunday we went to simi valley to visit some relatives...then it was time for len to go home =(

im feeling a lil better but my cough sounds gross....len is feeling better but his office is a bit stuffy so he might still be feeling under the weather...

i should get into some hobbies again while im waiting for the la county training position....im trying to exercise more...and i suppose i should really start cleaning out my closet so it would be a lot easier when i try to move out eehhhe

coming up its mother's day this weekend...and we're prob going to spend it with relatives...and then next week is my cousin's wedding in san diego....i like going to weddings esp to see if i can get new ideas or suggestions for my wedding...i still i have to get my dress dry-cleaned and then altered....
