these last two weeks ive been working a 6am to 3pm shift.....the first day i went to explore down kanan and looked for the beach...i found it after a really curvy road and it was soo beautiful.... i ended up in zuma at first and i kept driving down, got some starbucks and then parked my car along the pch....it was coool going to the beach just to chill, but the water was still dirty cuz of the runoff......and i was just staring off and then i saw some random splashes in the water, and i was like oh my gosh! i hope no one is drowning or something.....and then i saw a fin!!! they were dolphins!!!! yay!!! i love dolphins! i was sooo excited! since i got there i was totally taking all these pics with my camera phone, but how i wished i had my film camera to take dope pics and zoom in on those dolphins!!!! i was soo excited to see them....they didnt jump that high tho, but as they swam along u can tell they were dolphins and there were soooo many of them swimming by and i didnt know they swam that close to shore....i work six 6-3 again next week, so i might go to the beach again sometime after work on a nice day with my film camera handy....also on the way home, i wanted to take a street that wasnt that dark and winding, so i ended up on sunset, which was still winding but at least i had some civilization around me.....some rich neighborhoods tho, like pacific palisades and brentwood.........then after a realllly long time i ended up on the 405.....later that week (last friday) i met up kim at paradise cove....she brought brian!!!! i didnt know she was going to bring him...but i was soo excited to meet him!! they are sooooooo adorable together!!!im soo happy for them! we ate there and the atmosphere was cool, cuz it totally felt like we were in hawaii....we had a window table and then the only thing separating us from the waves was the cute patio with tiki torches, lounge tables and a small strip of sand......it was like they had their own private beach....the thing was that the cliff to the right was totally blocking the sunset!!!!! and i had my camera with me and everything!the food was cool, kinda pricey, but it was nice......oh and this time i took las virgenes and it was faster than kanan! i got there in like 15 mins from work! and i ended up right by pepperdine....then i followed kim and brian on pch towards sta monica so i can take the freeway back home, but chris called and he suggested i meet him up at work, but lax.....so i met him at work and he works in a nice ass building!!! i was like i wanna work here!!! everything is all censored, which makes sense cuz its a lab and u dont know wat people have on their hands....my building feels so old compared to his high tech one....then he was like oh we should have lava cake and since i didnt know wat that was, he was on a mission to take me to charthouse where they had it....we went to the marina del rey one but their oven was broken, and then we went back towards malibu to the charthouse there......that restaurant is sooooooo pretty! with the waves crashing up against the window, that would be dope during sunset...we also had to drive through sta monica to get on the pch, cuz we kinda got lost, the apt buildings there are sooooooooo nice! they looked like hotels and we could see into some of the living rooms and they totally looked like they were from a magazine......then we ate the lava cake!!!! it was sooo cute, it actually looked like a volcano....and it was sooooooo yummy! chocolate cake covered with fudge melting around the sides and a scoop of heath bar topping on vanilla ice cream on top, also melting and dripping down the sides....mmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMM! then the next day i went to work for a few hours and then i met up with kim in simi and then went to the new lnl for hawaiian food, and then she took me to tutu's hawaiian ice cream and i had haupia ice cream.....that was sooooooooooo yummy too!!!! and it was the cutest place...made me feel like i was in hawaii! soooo it was such a beach themed week, with a hawaiian weekend! i was glad that i got to explore and find my way around...wat an adventure! then this past monday, chris and i went to le champagne bakery for lunch....it was soo yummy! and we saw nia peebles eating there and shes soooooo short! we also saw john schroder (sp?) clark's dad from smallville.....i was soo excited ehhee......then it was a stressful week at work as usual and now its the weekend again! yay!
