status: they FINALLY called me on sept 5th!!! i start on sept 25!

its been an eventful past two weeks! last weekend was labor day weekend and i went up north... im surprised my parents let me go, since len was just down here the weekend before...but i thought it was the last time id get to go there and hang out for more than just a weekend...i was there for about 4 days and it was fun =)

i flew there thursday aug 30...and when i got there i got a chance to chat with len's mom and his auntie while len gave me chicken wings from wing stop...the hottest wing that they have, that they have a disclaimer on them! i was only able to eat one and i was tearing and everything! then on friday, i went to work with len...we had to take bart cuz the bridge was closed that weekend....his office building is sooo nice and the bathrooms are freakin clean!!! (thats the first time ive gone in there cuz theres security there and only employees with badges can get it, but that day we got a guest pass) len printed me a map and i was looking for a place to get breakfast...so i went to the crocker galleria and hung out there for a little and then we met up with len's sis for lunch at cafe bastille....it was in a cute little alley with all these cafe's and outside patio seating....looked like we were in a diff country.....and the food was ok but overpriced....and being the ocd person that i am..i saw the bus boy give us water and i saw bright red liquid trickle from his finger and onto the glasses....and i freaked and thought it was blood..what else could it be? there were no cocktails on the tray.....so i dont know if it really was.....but it splattered on the wall and tablecloth....looked like blood to me! i dont know? before lunch i walked to union square and went to the stores there....then after lunch i went to metreon to see if i can watch something but there was nothing for me to watch...then i went to the san francisco centre and just hung out at borders, and flipped thru about 8 wedding magazines ahah then len was off of work and we took bart to orpheum and waited in line for rush tickets (u wait in line, and the theater gives out a limited# of $25 tickets and then the rest of the line gets $45 limited view tix)...we were able to get $45 tix to avenue q!! yay! it was sooooooo funny!!!! and now the music is always in my head.....im surprised with all the stuff they get to talk/sing about in a musical!! totally not for kids....the puppets are sooooo cute!!! after that we went to len's fave indian restaurant by union square....luckily it was open late....it was yummy!! i had the tiki masala....yum! and the garlic naan is yum too! we were totally in the city for about 16 hours!!! so tiring!

then on saturday his family came over and went swimming...it was sooo hot that weekend! i thought that by coming to sf, id get a break from the heat wave in la...in sf it was nice but vallejo was hot!! on sunday we went to church and ate at max's chicken with len's auntie...then we chilled and set out to napa/st helena....we were going to go to v. sattui cuz i wanted cheese hhehe but the cars lining up to go in was long so we passed it and looked for taylor's refresher....that i saw on food network and len and his friends already tried and said it was soooooo good! so we went there and they have patio seating...it was soo hot! but the burgers we had were delicious and very tasty and the sweet potato fries and aioli sauce are incredible!!!!!! i wish i could eat some right now! then we got back to his house and his sibs wanted to go out to dinner....i swear that day was just all eating! we went to front room, which is a nice sea side restaurant by the vallejo ferry bldg, with a cool jazzy pianist/singer....their pesto linguica pizza was yummy! then we took len's auntie to cache creek...which is only an hour from vallejo...its a really nice casino, i think its a lot nicer than the one i went to down south...why couldnt i just stop after losing 20 dollars?? gosh i wish i did!!! all 3 of us ended up losing money that night....and we got back at 4:30am...then on monday 1/2 the day was dedicated to sleep and len's parents came back from vegas, so i got to spend time with his parents and chatted about their trip...i dont know how len's auntie woke up in time at 9am to go back to fremont but she did! i was totally knocked out.....so tired!

i cant believe that sept is almost 1/2 over!!!!! going by so fast!
